You Do Need:
Ability to Read English
A Fast Internet connection (dial up is too tedious)
At least 2 new email accounts - Gmail is best
Paypal and Alertpay accounts
A free log in program - I like Roboform. The free version allows 10 free logins and identities. Use the identity feature to fill in your registration details including favorite user name and password. (Note the login program won't work well with sites requiring entry of touring or capcha codes)
Step 1 Set up two new free Gmail accounts with Google one for Paypal and AlertPay, the other for your contact email with the surfing sites
Step 2 Set up your Paypal and AlertPay accounts, most PTC sites use AlertPay
Step 3 Download free version of Roboform and enter identity details including custom field for AlertPay and Paypal email address. Sometimes the custom feature does not work, it just depends on the site requirements.
Step 4 Join the paid to click programs using Roboform to fill in your information. Some of them will issue an ID # or password of their own and send you a confirmation email. Open a Notepad file and copy and paste the paid to click program login info, payout minimum, description and referral codes/banners for each program as you join. Be sure to bookmark each paid to click login page.
(NEW - Special Note re Passwords) I have read recent posts on Paid to Surf sites about hacking. The easiest way to protect yourself is to have a unique password for each site. I used to think that just using the same password was okay, but have changed my mind and my passwords. You can use Roboform to generate and save the passwords or make up your own. The most secure passwords contain a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols. You could easily use the same user or login name and just copy and paste the passwords from any document file. Always make a backup hard copy of your passwords.
Step 5 Start surfing or clicking.
Step 6 Join at least three of the traffic exchanges and viral advertising programs to refer people to your surfing programs. Enter the referral codes and be sure to allocate traffic credits as they are earned.
Step 7 View ads in traffic exchange programs to increase your referrals to your paid to click websites.
Step 8 Post ads in free classified to increase your paid to click referrals
Tips:
1. Don't upgrade. Paid to surf (PTC) sites sometimes drop off the map.
2. Don't buy referrals. You have no way of knowing if a referral will be active
3. Ask for payment as soon as you reach the minimum payout amount.
4. Focus, you will be viewing many ads and some will be very persuasive. If necessary copy the url of any interesting website and paste to a "to do file" then visit when you have time. If you follow up on very many during a paid to click session you won't get much work done.
5. Start a "swipe file" in word pad. Copy and paste ad texts and snippets that tempt you to click. You can use these snippets to build your own ads for free classifieds.
6. Try to set a schedule for placing ads and viewing.
7. Use a free ad tracking program to track the number of hits an ad receives. If a site sends you 1 or 2 clicks every other day, that is a keeper.
8. Post ads during the active hours of the day. Statistically Tuesday is the best day to post, but the more you post, the more often you will find good ads sites.
9. Take a screen shot of your member stats and referrals often.

Some
of these programs are just fine, and have been recommended to me,
however paid to click sites often go out of business and scammers
sometimes collect advertising revenue and solicit clicks then the close
the paid tosurf or paid to click site without paying their surfers. The higher the PPC
amount,
the more skeptical I am about its lomg term survival. Compare the
amount advertisers pay for advertising to the amount surfers are being
paid. If the surfers are promised more per click than advertisers pay, the site will not last or could be an outright
scam.
I really got scammed by GreenBux as well as some of my referrals. However, hard I try to only include legitimate
PTC sites, this is going to happen occasionally. BuxUp is gone again too! I have also moved Loyalbux to the not recommended section as their site is down. This past week Myspacetoearn has been down. It came highly recommended so if it comes back online I may bring it back.
